this is strictly a case of better late than never;all us honest gun owners know we don't need 30 round clips,assault rifles to target practice with ,silencers,machine guns etc. to protect our homes! we also don't need a business to qualify for a concealed weapon permit which I feel should be good for every state same as a drivers license!
I have owned guns all my life and registered everyone I bought new! so has every other honest gun owner! I'm talking over 60 years! but this isn't what I'm pushing!
I'm saying that you and me the majority of the people voted for our congressman to represent us!
I'm saying that every one of us that feel that our congressman vote the party line on gun control and not what we the majority want(in other words they ignore their voters for the extremists) we vote against them in 2014 and 2016 or as long as they hold office!
as I write this I see a right extremist putting down the presidents budget! while his budget has been proven bad for the worker! we need to get this group out of office!
this is for all voters ! left or right lets get the trash out of office!

1. Well

Assault rifles are already tightly regulated and are not generally available to the public. one down. I am not sure what a 30 round clip looks like but 30 round magazines I have ho problem phasing them out. I think 15-20 for a rifle and what fits in the hand grip of a handgun should be the limit. My non assault rifle AR-15 comes with 20 round magazines as standard and I do use it for target practice like many competition shooters.

most duck hunters I know are lucky to limit out with a box of shells! ha ha!
I stopped hunting in merrymeeting bay when they went to steel shot! It was amazing to see you sky busters and the cripples you left! I must admit my dad was an excellent wing shot and one of the best I ever hunted with! I realize ducks are hard to bring down ;but I seldom needed
a second shot! my favorite gun was an ethica dbl 20 gauge! I DIDN'T NEED A 10GA. OR 12 GA. I just waited till they were in range! I enjoyed teal hunting for sport! I had a good friend from
pennsylvania who loved to duck hunt;like most duck hunters he couldn't hit a partridge in the air! in fact often he didn't get a shot off! guess that's why he duck hunted!
ha ha 10 for 10 on dove,10 for 10 on quail,9 for 10 on partridge and I never took more than 10 shells when I went duck hunting!
I might add I qualified expert with all weapons in the military! my weapon of choice to protect my home =a dbl barrel 20 gauge with a 44 mag to disable the block of the survivors get away vechicle! while I reload with #3 buckshot! of course mama is quite able with her 20 ga. auto and her 9mm !and I'm sure the dog will greet them at the door!
