just a heads up. du'er nralieghliberal coming to town in feb.
he is giving a speech about tomatoes, and his book, "epic tomatoes", at the botanic gardens.
i have been bugging him to do a book signing at my farm. he hasnt given me a firm answer on that.
but at any rate, it seems like a good excuse for a get together.

I've got to get through the next month, then will begin to look at what comes next. I am looking for other possible opportunities around the Feb 28 date at the Botanic Garden (that one is firm, but even around that event, we have not worked all details out yet). So far next year - Seattle, this Chicago date, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Virginia - not sure I am ready for another year like this, but why not!
Looking forward to meeting other Chicago and environs DUers!
