Voted today!

About ten other people there, steady but small stream, but then again it was mid-afternoon.
I voted for all the Dems, chose Melissa Snively for school board, as her opponent is a RW asshole who keeps trying to get himself and his anti-gay agenda on the school board.
A woman named Dipa Shah was also running for school board. At first I was going to vote for her because she was the target of a nasty flyer that seemed racist. Then I poked around and saw that she is a Conservative, and the flyer was put out there by an ultra-conservative group. No vote from me.
Yes on amendments 1 and 2, No on 3.

Aaaand - since I am a liberal, and I voted for Dems, I don't want to read any bullshit about us Lefty hippies not voting.
I did turn down a ticket to see Crist and Clinton - I am so over the Clintons, and I was going to vote for Charlie anyway.
My 19 YO grandson voted for the first time, I told the adorable poll workers and they all clapped, it was a fun experience!

My state rep is unopposed. They tried to run somebody against her last time, started out by trying to gin up a scandal. She put out a flyer debunking their hatchet job before most of us heard about it. They now know to stay the fuck away from my part of town.

There were two amendments that reeked of Koch. I hope people read them.

There was also decriminalization of pot possession up to an ounce. Grinned as I voted for that one.

Unfortunately our Tejana Teabagger governor will likely get in again. Her opponent is part of a political dynasty and while preferable, Tejana Susana has kept a low enough profile to get back in.

While I didn't find out exactly who she voted for, iirc, her statement was along the lines of 'I only voted for one incumbent'. That would be a beautiful sort of thing here in Ohio, where we're awash in Republicans at all levels. Here's to hoping for more 'throw the bums out voters' in Ohio.

Different County, but decided on Crist some time back. Yeah, the grief we get, huh? I've posted the what's and why's at several post these past 2 weeks, why as a Liberal it's been my decision that we as Democrats needed to show Repukes that we'll vote, just like they do. NO MATTER WHAT!!

This time, this time not sitting home. Make them sweat and maybe we can start something from our side. Crist wasn't all that bad as Governor, but didn't vote for him at that time. But the crap that went down before he became a Democrat was behind the doors and only heard snippets. Bottom line Jebby made his decision and we ended up with his boy Marco Rubio. I did hear that Crist was appointing some judges, Jebby didn't like them and suggested others to Crist. Crist said he was Governor and also heard other things. Not sure what the facts were, but I feel something did happen. Then the Obama thing happened...HORRORS!

Obama is no liberal, but he's been treated like crap too. And as I've said here before, when you think of it he's about the only Democrat running who hasn't backed down about his association with Obama. More than many other Dems.

We'll see what happens... we need to FIGHT NOW! Throw something at the wall, see what sticks!

My whole family here voted for Crist too. Did my job doing GOTV! I'm still afraid about what's gonna happen, Scott is a crook and will always be one. And he's not looking out for "we the people" in FL or anywhere else!

And we need to watch out for Jebby too, he's playing both sides of his party right now. Letting people think he's a "moderate of some sort" IMO that's just a facade! He'll strike if he can. He was the ONE who was supposed to be the next President, NOT SHRUB! Walking Lawton won the election, Jebby had to run again!
