1. Two reasons:

1. 2010 was a horrible year for Democrats.
2. Alex Sink was a terrible candidate who ran a pathetic campaign. |

and the race was actually close (47.7% to 48.9%) especially considering that Scott put $75Million of his own money into the campaign. But, indeed, 2010 sucked for Dems.

He is (and was last November) very unpopular. Sink failed to make a case that she would be a better choice.

12. former gov changed recount law from 1% to 1/2%. Bet if you count....she won.

it seems to be one of the better papers around here. None of the stations I watch mentioned it until after the election. But then, I don't watch that much TV. Thanks, my bad.
