'Sorry' for posting. For some awful reason, I woke thinking about this. Don't know why the hell it's called 'exclusive Kalorama section,' because as far as I know, anyone who can afford it can/may buy/rent/live there. DC/Kalorama does NOT exclude anyone, it's not a gated community. OK, enough rant, I'm going out for coffee!

1. Is it me?

I feel as though I'm being punked. I was born in the 50s. My parents despised McCarthyism. I'd roll my eyes in Cold War days when the right would see the USSR's fingerprints everywhere. But now I'm amazed. The Trump family can't seem to do anything without churning up some Russian connection or another. This house was or is owned by Russians? They bought it from them or are leasing it from them? Sheesh!

Report: Ivanka Trump And Jared Kushner Moving To Kalorama

It appears that Ivanka Trump’s house hunting is over. The president-elect's daughter and her husband, Jared Kushner, are moving to a home in Kalorama, according to Washingtonian.

William Moody, executive vice president at Washington Fine Properties, told Washingtonian that he was part of a team of agents who represented the couple on their real estate deal.

According to multiple real estate sources, the home is located at 2449 Tracy Place NW, Washingtonian reports. The six bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom home is less than two blocks from where the Obama family is expected to live when President Obama leaves office this month.

Trump's new residence sold on December 22 for $5.5 million, according to the listing. But it's unclear whether they bought it or are renting.
