Had a voice mail from the Obama campaign that I'm confused about.

It said that their records showed that I applied for a mail in ballot but has not been received yet and told me where I could drop it off. The problem is, I didn't apply for a mail in ballot. I was planning on either voting early (I didn't make it), or vote at my polling place on election day. So, now I'm concerned if something funky has happened with my vote.

I guess I'll find out on Tuesday when I go to vote. If anyone has any ideas on how the Obama campaign gets their information, let me know. I hope they were wrong in this case.

1. can people in your state vote in person

if they change their minds? If not, then I would worry that this is another repuke game to prevent you from voting.

Just because you asked for an absentee ballot doesn't mean you have to vote that way.

As someone else said, GardeningGal should contact her board of elections and make sure that someone didn't somehow apply for one in her name.

This could be some sort of trick where Republicans are applying for ballots for people, or the phone call might have been a trick claiming to be from the Obama campaign but in reality being some right-wing organization trying to confuse her.

registration.

Call your local voting registration office Monday. The number should be available online. Don't put that call off.

Here in California, it's all computerized. If you call your registration office (whatever it is called in Colorado) they should be able to tell you whether you are registered and how you are registered.
