(75,480 posts)It seems PG & E were slacking in maintaining the equipment during the drought, so a switch rotted or something like that. It's been out this long because their maintenance crew had to head down here from Cayucas. I hope they maintain the nuclear power plant better than this.

(78,249 posts)edit: It's actually their fault. They could have closed the Boils out on Tuesday and had the parade Thursday, in fine weather.

(1,301 posts)Ventura here--still raining, but it really poured hard for a good 20 or 30 minutes, starting about an hour ago. In October, that's early. I hope it's a sign of things to come...
