at least if you want to live a normal life. I love the West Coast, especially the Pacific NW, but I don't want to live in a place where I have to struggle all the time. If I ever move out there, I'll have to live more inland. I love the mountains, so that might work.

I could never live in the bay area. I think I'm stuck in mega-hot Pasadena for the rest of my life. I'm 50 and my apt. is paid off. I did have a dream of living in a cooler less crowded place, but I don't see how that will happen. I'm trying to just be grateful for what I do have, and blackout shades are great!

a lot of things. I like N. Cal. better, but I could do a lot worse than live out my days in Pasadena.
