14. + another. That is seriously nasty behavior, no matter who did it

Seems like kind of an expensive 'prank' too: a pig carcass large enough to be mistaken for a person I don't think would be cheap...

Or hogging the spotlight.
Or bringing home the bacon. "You can indict a ham sandwich!" Here's one. |

I think this is disgusting and does not represent the values of most liberals at all! And if something similar was done to our President we would be very outraged. Wrong. wrong. wrong. Nothing good can come of this no matter what! |

and when all the attacks made on Democratic offices these past few years are taken into consideration, it leads me to believe that this act was perpetrated by a wingnut: either a lame attempt to make Democrats look bad or a disgruntled teabagger who had opposed RawMoney's nomination from Day One.

MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A dead pig clad in a Mitt Romney T-shirt was left at a Republican campaign office in Manhattan Beach.
Manhattan Beach Police had to discard the pig's head and its feet in a trash bin, but not before several passersby saw it. "I thought it was a dead body because of the way he approached it," said Manhattan Beach resident Andy Gaeta. "And then when he lifted the shirt, he saw the head wrapped in barbed wire and it's cut in half, the whole skull was. It looked like something from a butcher's market." -------- Manhattan Beach Police Animal Control later removed the trash bin containing the pig's remains, taking it as evidence. Police say they're investigating the incident as an "illegal dumping of an animal carcass." More: http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=news/local/los_angeles&id=8879421 |

because it's so over the top, either a Republican upset with Rove, who is appears as a canned ham on Colbert's show and is pig-like, or a jubilant but vengeful Democrat who just got sick of right wing crazies. Either way it seems like a minor story and the piggie was surely purchased at the market and mostly consumed beforehand, maybe with some tequila!
