Personally I don't think Boehner will be re-elected as Speaker and they will select someone even more conservative. But Boehner stated no revenue increases would be considered. And McConnell is saying the President has no mandate and that HE must compromise with the Republicans and not the other way around.

So for at least the next 2 years it will be more of the same.
