THUNDER and lightening in Los Angeles!

Holy cow! Got roused from my sleep by thunder that shook the house! And there was lightening followed by massive down pours...one of them must have had hail too, as it was pounding on the bedroom window.

Sheesh.

especially when thunder and lightning are so rare. The sustained rumblers, as I call them, are pretty common where I am but they still can sneak up on you in the wee hours of the morning.
