5. Going to gift shops near geological sites was my downfall for years. That, and British Columbia...

I still have a lot of T-shirts from there. And oh, the weather in the southwest in October is the best. It was always my favorite month. Are you guys going to get some rain in the fall or winter?

We didn't get a summer here really, fall came fast and it's working on winter. Some are stoking their woodstoves and you can smell that cedar smoke. Still can't complain, seeing as how some people really suffered with the heat and drought this year.

It's all good, but I wish I was down there to visit the place. It sounds like it's gonna be cool. We're gearing up for Halloween and, OMG, thinking about Christmas!

We're moving to Tucson thanksgiving week so I will keep this place in mind to visit. My husband is getting transferred and has never been to the SW of the US. He accepted the job before ever visiting. (We were desperate).
