Chelsea Clinton to campaign in Arizona
Chelsea Clinton will appear in Arizona next week for her mother, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
The Clinton campaign confirmed to The Arizona Republic that Chelsea Clinton, 36, is coming to the state Wednesday, Oct. 19, but said other details are still being worked out.
It was not yet clear if the younger Clinton would appear at an event that is open to the public or if she would headline a private fundraiser.
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, have been locked in a tight battle in Arizona, a state that traditionally supports GOP presidential candidates. The website FiveThiryEight, which makes elections forecasts, as of Thursday was giving Clinton a 53 percent chance of winning Arizona.
