Two new Syfy shows: "The Expanse" and "Childood's End"

I enjoyed Ascension last year on SyFy in mid-December, but it unfortunately didn't go to series.

Is Childhood's End based on the A.C. Clarke novel? I've often wondered why that has never been adapted.

Syfy Channel has ended "Continuum," "Dominion," and my sci-fi/western favorite "Defiance."

These two new shows will be some small consolation. "Childhood's End" looks kind of interesting in a "V" kind of way. "Dark Matter" is coming back, that one was interesting. "Z Nation" will be back!

Syfy is a blessing for SF fans.

On other networks, I am also lamenting the loss of "The Bastard Executioner" which was a good sub for "GoT" and also "The Whispers" is gone - Lily Rabe can go back to "American Horror Story"!

4. The expanse starts Dec. 14 too...

maybe they changed it from Nov. 23rd.

I happen to be watching Haven and there's an ad for in the corner of the screen...it says Dec. 14.

Also the guide isn't showing The Expanse for tonight--I was going to dvr it.

6. Expanse starts streaming Nov 23, won't be broadcast on TV until Dec 14

So if you have Roku or an HDMI output on you PC you can watch it tonight.
