Apparently they changed the ending from the book. Judging by other comments which opens the gate for a second season. I don't think that I will watch a second season.

Yes, they led to the finale.

Assuming that you know "the truth," at some point I was thinking that it should just disappear.

I hated the finale and won't watch it again. The first couple of episodes were nice and mysterious, but I didn't know it had devolved into what it became. What a letdown. Ugh.

I can get caught up on the events that led up to the finale, now! I am DVR'ing so I can FF the parts I don't want to see!

Having read the series, I liked many of the differences.

I do, however, have some trepidation with the final three minutes involving the Wayward Pines that Ben has woken up to. I'll be interested to see where this goes in season 2.

I didn't know what it would be like. I thought it had a good cast and it would be more like Under the Dome or Twin Peaks. I was disappointed in the way it evolved.
