The emmy for best actress this year is going to be a barn burner

I haven't watched every show by any means but there are three amazing performances by lead actresses. There is the law professor/ criminal attorney by Viola Davis in How to Get Away with Murder, there is the tough first wife of the Rap emperor on Empire played by Taraji P Henson, and now the bitter, racist mother of a murder victim on American Crime played by Felicity Huffman. The best part is these are women in their 40's, the age at which actresses often start getting ignored instead of getting juicy roles such as this. I have no idea how they are going to choose between those three but we are already winners.

1. I would go for Hoffman

A very unique character and she gets it perfect

2. After watching How to Get Away With Murder

I would have said just hand it to Viola Davis but now I tend to agree with you about Huffman.
