Survivor 4/25 - Possible spoilers...
Okay....NOW it is getting interesting....Troyzan gave it his all and wound up one vote short of pulling off an upset...At the reward challenge Christina finally found out what everyone has been saying about her behind her back. The challenge was to try and guess who said what about whom, and if you got the answer right, you got to try and knock another player out of contention. When the question came to "Who doesn't deserve to be here" everyone said 'Christina' to her total amazement.
In the end Kim won the challenge and took Chelsea and Alicia with her which pissed Kat off mightily. Back at camp Troyzan used it as an opportunity to try and peel Kat and Christina away from the 'All-Girl Clan' being lead by the highly efficient Kim. Kat wrestled with the obvious truths being elucidated by Troyzan, but continued to second-guess why she felt that way. Was it because Troyzan was right, or because she was pissed-off at Kim for not taking her to the reward challenge?
When Kim, Chelsea and Alicia came back, Kim immediately set about trying to repair fences with Kat. We weren't sure if they were 100% successful or not, only TC would reveal that.
In the immunity challenge which involved the contestants oiling themselves up and throwing themselves along an immense slip and slide, and then throwing some hoops onto some pegs (a fairly easy "challenge" for something is pivotal as immunity at this stage of the game imho) Kim wound up securing immunity, and that basically drove the nail into Troyzan's coffin.
To his credit Troyzan did his utmost to orchestrate a win , but in the end Kat proved she was indeed one of the dumbest players in Survivor history (one of her admitted deepest fears) as she blindly followed Kim's orders and voted Troyzan off (also validating her other biggest fear - that she was nothing more than a follower).
My hat's off to Troyzan, I think he played a valiant game, and was genuinely bummed to see him go. I would like to have seen him battle wits with Kim a few rounds more, as it is, we are now set for a series of cat fights as Kim and Chelsea try and map their way to the final two/three.
As an aside I just want to say that I dearly hope that the folks that run whichever school Alicia works at pay attention to the things she has said about the kids she is in charge of. I think she is a mean-spirited, judgmental, thoroughly unlikable person, who should not be in any position of authority around special needs kids.
