night before last I watched in dismay as a clutch was washed out to sea... stopped Conservation Bill this morning and he was digging up and relocating a nest to a safer place...

6. Yes, we are! I finally got Anoles doing the love thing.

They were getting busy right next to me, so I snapped a few shots.

I felt somewhat perverted but told myself that it's a 'nature' shot. lol

we could be there with you. Your photos are the next best thing. I especially like the one of the man walking towards the vehicle. Great color. Also the chair photo, and the beans.

I am taking in all I can possibly digest before I have to move on to San Antonio (w/2 day layover in NOLA, of course!!)

I never have had the pleasure of the ocean like this and I will miss it! (still in Hallandale, FL - until next Friday)

I am learning about sea beans (there really is a Sea Bean Symposium every year!! http://www.seabean.com/symposium/2012/ ) and loggerhead turtles and ghost crabs and the nuances of the tides and swimming in salt water and so much I am thrilled by... never thought I would love the ocean... who knew??

the chair was left on the beach last night and was about to be washed out to sea this morning so I got a picture before I rescued it

on a political note; Conservation Bill said he was a Republican, but he is voting for Pres. Obama this year!!! I let him know that was good and to share that sentiment with everyone
