Kurt's Camera Corral

Posted on my son's and his partner's blog documenting their cross country road trip.

They have posted quite a few photos of their trip so far--including some gorgeous shots of the desert,
Petrified Forest, Carlsbad Caverns, street scenes from New Orleans, interesting highway shots.

Much of it is on a scale that is so vast you only get a full appreciation of it when you see it from the air or do a lot of traveling.

There's hundreds of cinder cone volcanoes and lava flows around Flagstaff. The Grand Canyon stretches for about 200 miles between Lake Powell and Lake Mead. Monument Valley stretches on for many miles.
