Los Osos Orchids

There's a grower not too far from where my friend lives. Orchids were dirt cheap. The place was for sale so the stock was down, but these were among the best. The salmon one went to my neighbor for doing kitty duty. The other two are mine. We'll see how long it takes me to kill them.

Outside the orchid place were some strange, and amazingly beautiful plants. I will post photos when I've processed them. I have no clue what they were, except it was clear they were desert plants.

I have orchids in my bathroom window (east exposure) behind muted but bright light. They live from the water in the air and about 3 cubes of ice to melt on their leaves a week. Mine re-bloom many many times.
They don't need much. Mainly do not overwater them!

I might move them to my bathroom, but there's not much light there. I have a north-east window, but it's a cat perch. But then what isn't in my house?

I need that color for my huge collection of one orchid plant, (recently given, and I'm still hopeful I can keep it alive and blooming.) Did you know the name of that one by any chance???
