took another walk today

i went to one of the natural areas on the east side of town and walked around for about an hour and a half. the whole area was gravel pits before the city reclaimed it. i enjoyed the sun and the breeze and listed to the red-wing blackbirds and robins, but i'm really bummed i couldn't get a shot of the heron.
















i was hoping to get a good sunset, but no such luck. i can't wait to see what this camera does with one.

4. it was very peaceful

i could hear the faint hum of traffic on the interstate, but it wasn't enough to bother me.

i dumped a whole bunch more photos on facebook, too. i'll hit another spot next weekend
