These are just wonderful.
What made you choose these particular objects?

(19,459 posts)I was in Benicia today for some dental work and discovered the military cemetery while driving a back road in the old Arsenal complex. Got out of the truck and stumped around for a bit. Later in the day would have been better. It is really lovely in there, as most of our national cemeteries are.
The train trestle over the creek is a place I've driven past just about every day for the last 10 years or so. I've always thought it would make a nice photo, so I finally stopped by there on Sunday. I was disappointed in how much trash was in the water but the day was nice and foggy, so it seemed like an opportune time.
The last photo was taken in a display of 19th-century farming equipment at Peña Adobe, over by Vacaville.
I'm just taking lots of photos of different stuff with this 35mm lens, trying to learn manual focusing and settings.
Thanks for looking and commenting.
