It would make a fine portrait lens with a big 1.7 aperture and an effective 100mm, it would be perfect.

It is Donkey Tails. We bought one right after we saw one in an Emmy Lou Harris poster. I think it came with the "Rose of Cimarron" album.

to me they look like they're made of rusted iron. And I've always wanted a plant like that, and in spite of a moderately green thumb, they have not worked well for me.
Probably kept them too wet.

But when the weather outside is nasty, I'm in for a hike.

Love having the bitter wind blowing on my face

but I'm a Michigan man, what else can I say?

After that I carried mail in Kentucky. I know how to handle the cold.

I'm retired so I stay in when the weather sucks.
