My Dad stayed in NY as long as he could, and after 20? years in Florida, moved to IOWA!!! to be with my brother for his final years. And he planted stuff there, a real peasant!

It is a lovely neighborhood, near the 'old' Walter Reed. I can't stand driving past our house. Too many memories. But driving around today was nice,

Still fairly green here. There are a few spots with some color change. Very few.

I deliberately drove past the several streets I recall having great color as well as canopies. There is lots of space in my territory, quite broad, 120 miles between my residences, so I keep my camera with me!

Those could be considered colorful, in a manner of speaking.

Seen gators. Been avoiding the other.

And the other can be avoided by avoiding warm freshwater lakes/rivers and not using Neti Pots with tap water. People have actually died from it....the amoeba. (2 in Louisiana)
