(20,886 posts)My ospreys are back at their nest. I was afraid the new vineyard had scared them away.
This is from 2011. I think I mentioned before that PG&E built a platform above an electrical pole for them. They are really messy nest builders.

I think he is getting old....like the rest of us.

(18,219 posts)Poor guy! Actually, he might have been young and inexperienced. Maybe she lost her prior mate. Young and inexperienced is much worse than old and having a little problem.
I bet he figured it out.....or she will throw his butt out.
