I started at the bottom right, made a left then took the picture somewhere in the first block. It was between the buildings. The field is part of Transylvania University (est 1780), and the trees at top left is Gratz park. Top center you see a small house with two skylights. That is where I photographed the mossy wall. The images are at the north side of Lexington, Ky. Henry Clay's law office is off screen to the left. John Hunt Morgan's house borders the park. See Morgan's Raiders in Google.

have say I to love the "Will eat for food." So where is it and might have to make one for the SO. I am tied between the statue and the wood floors for wonderful texture shots. And I too had a hard time figuring out if the bird is real or not.

the area. I think Third St stuff has given their neighbors permission to be playful. That little bird is one of many pleasant surprises in the area.

The last image is of a place being rehabilitated.

I've walked this neighborhood many times, each time there is something different. Sometimes it is the light, sometimes it is the lenses used. Each factor dictates what and how I see the world around me. The image of the painted trash can containing sticks would not have been considered because it was too far away, but my zoom enabled me to frame the image.

before I could zero in on what I like best. The woman at the tree is so relaxed and undisturbed. Colors: gorgeous, in that one, and through out. I very much like number seven. The unexpected care taken with the decorated pot gives the photo real power.
but my favorite by far is the first number nine, the statue's legs.
A photo I will remember.
Perfect color, crop and pulls me in with fascination.

Thanks. The statue's foot caught my eye, then I noticed the triangles.
