4. So much beauty. I have his identical twin brother at my feeder,

a feeder just like this. Your photo is the very reason I never even picked up the camera to make a portrait of him.
There is no way I would have succeeded this well.
Congrats on the photo and the lens.

7. The feeder is outside the kitchen window and..

because it's kind of a nasty, drizzly day I set up my tripod inside, opened the window, and waited.
Kind of lazy I know but you have to put up with all kinds of stuff to get the shot.Ha!

11. This was taken with a Nikon 70-300mm, 5.6 lens.

The camera, a Nikon D300, was on a tripod using a shutter release.
