Nice color. I don't know the scale, but I assume that a couple feet across.

4. It looked to be about 18 inches across

I used the telephoto and had to make sure not to get my feet in the shot. I'm not crazy about this new little Nikon but it is small and easy to slip into a coat pocket. It only has the lcd screen and sometimes it just seems to have a hard time focusing.

6. The Dandelion and bark should give you some idea of scale.

3. Love the colors and textures!

Any chance that the top and bottom can be cropped a little looser so that the stump is left whole?

7. I might have cropped some off the left and bottom. But leaving it un-cropped and

rotated 90 degree counter clockwise. It then becomes a horned animal.
