a flash mob

while i was at the trail of lights i saw my first flash mob,singing xmas songs

and another, in minus 20 degree weather:

Organizers were going to do the same kind of flash mob in a Sacramento mall, and announced it via social media. Instead of the 100 or so participants, however, more than 5,000 people showed up. The mall had to be closed until it could be inspected for damage.
