Wolf Reflections

I recently decided to finally learn how to use my D3100 properly, after owning it for nearly two years. Strangely, I had a mental block preventing me from utilizing the non-automatic modes. I longed for the simple days of lining up the needle in the circle of my old Minolta SRT202. So I took a class on using your DSLR and am now off and running.

These reflections are of wolves enjoying a foggy morning at a local sanctuary. I like the shots but none seemed to me to be up to par for the contest as something is a bit off in each. But wolf reflections are special and I wanted to post a few.

3. I like #2 too

If only the ripple wasn't blocking the face of the other wolf. I love how they are both peering into the water.

These wolves live at the Lakota Wolf Sanctuary in western NJ, not far from the Water Gap. They are all rescues, along with a few bobcat and fox.
