We finally got some snow yesterday, about a foot, which broke a record for daily snowfall on 12/12. We really needed it. It had been very cold and dry which isn't good for pipes, perennial roots, skiers, or snowplow operators. Everyone is smiling today.
We got a little break this morning, when I took this picture, but it's clouded back up now. No meteor showers for me. This is a little marshy area by the railroad tracks where the ducks hang out in the summer. They build their nests up in the cattails.
