27. But determined. I kept one from eating a baby mantis

that was hanging out on my porch. I gently picked the grasshopper up and moved it to the flower bed below my porch. It took 3 hops getting back to the little mantis. So I moved him again. We did this a few more times before I moved mantis. lol

31. They kill and eat hummingbirds. :(

They get really big here. I had to pluck several from my feeders and deposit them in the woods. I don't want to see one eating a hummingbird - the knowing was more than enough.

21. Thank you. That was taken in the The Midland Theater

Located in downtown Kansas City, on Main Street, in the Power & Light district. The original Midland Theater opened in 1927.
The newly remolded Midland by AMC is home to a wide variety of musical artists, comedians and family entertainers, as well as special corporate and private events.
The ornate decor suggests an opulence of a by-gone era.

The photo of is of the Great Sand Dunes National Park down in south-central Colorado. Largest sand dunes in North America. Huge mounds of sand with a mere trickle of a creek running at their base. Very, very xeric!
