The events of this year, especially the last 2 months, have shaken and battered many hearts and souls. Mine feels as if it's in a wringer after hearing of Carrie Fisher's death right on the heels of all the tragic deaths just in the last 3-4 days. No-one says/sings/plays sadness better than Eric Clapton, especially in this song:
