In Alfred Hitchcock's Notorious, his co-star, and alleged love interest, Ingrid Bergman was 5' 9".
In Casablanca, Rains played against Paul Henreid, who was 6' 3".
Amazing what camera angles can do.
I've always loved Rains flicks.
