1. ALPA is an interesting bunch.

A lot of hard-core union folks who are also a bit to the right of Darth Vader. Many (though not all) airline pilots, especially those who are ex-military, are very conservative and have no use for any labor group (especially those of teachers and other public employees) other than their own. But management had better not mess with their labor rights.
