I feel like I'm about to be sent off to the gulag by a functionary of the regime!

Good job on the whiskers--why do you feel you must get rid of them? Are they not to your taste, or will they interfere with an oxygen breathing apparatus or something on those lines?

this week with a very humorless conservative bunch, so I'll play it safe. The beard was just some practical fun for the very long cold winter.

head and facial while I was in college. One winter I had a lovely set of mutton-chops, and in my ADN nursing photo that hangs on the wall at the university, I'm sporting a Fu Manchu moustache that looks like it hangs halfway down my throat. (Optical illusion, the individual hairs are still fairly short, I just shaved the area to leave strips of hair growing in those two rows long enough for the pic )

And on the day I defended my doctoral dissertation, iirc, I wandered around the department with a regular head of hair in the morning, went home at lunch and shaved my head down to the skin before returning that afternoon to present.
