The Zeitgeist Movement

Anyone on DU familiar with the movement? I saw all three of the Documentaries and I found this site. I am not sure whether to start a chapter in my state or not. Any advice would be welcome.

2. It's interesting

I'm not terribly familiar with it, but have read a little about it in the past. Their ideas are intriguing and I generally support their efforts.

The only thing I'd say against it is that the change they are seeking will take several generations and a mobilization of people that has never actually happened in history.

So if that's the kind of activism you want to pursue go for it. Just don't expect to see results in your lifetime.

3. By all licit means restore sustainable living

If Arthur Fonzarelli could mobilize America's youth in the 70s to start reading library books, imagine what a movement like zeitgeist could do to help restore the human footprint...
