As fate would have it....

I heard the Bruckner 9th March 3 and 4..

Gergiev and Rotterdam Phil in Rotterdam and at The Concertgebouw.

He stopped with the finished third movement... good for him....

the Concertgebouw is very high on my list of concert halls to visit. What a place to hear it....

Been to the Concertgebouw several times...have friends in the orchestra. Well, both orchestras, for that matter..

The acoustics there are just beyond unbelievable.

If you go, try to sit in one of the side balconies between half way back and the rear...

But hell. the sound is great anywhere.. just be careful not to get stuck behnd a post in the orchestra.
