Is there a way to get rid of the timeline format on Facebook?
I hate the look of it--way to busy. I liked the look of the old FB. Why do they have to keep changing it?

2. Not as far as I can tell

And I'm getting pretty pissed off with some of those games people play where they send you requests over and over again and I click on the little world thingy at the top thinking it's a message but it's a request to play some stupid game.
AND...when I go to the game or app to try and block it, I can't. I've blocked lots of apps, but some refuse to die and there's nothing anybody can do about it, apparently, but to keep seeing requests to play Lucky Slots or Bingo Bash or whatever. I got enough games going on my iPhone without wasting time on Facebook games as well. |

3. They keep changing it because they're wankers.

I've still got the old look, but only because I haven't accepted certain apps.

5. This video claims to be able to alter Timeline so it looks like the old version

I can't vouch for it because I'm still holding on dearly to the old look

Facebook has a dev-team assigned to "breaking" all the methods that people find to do it or rearrange their homepage or remove page-elements.
So, if you do find a way...it won't work forever. |

ATTN: FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE TIMELINE PROFILE AND WANT TO GET RID OF IT HERE'S WHAT YOU DO....Users have to use GOOGLE CHROME:go to TOOLS, click EXTENSIONS, click GET MORE EXTENSIONS, type in TIMELINE REMOVE, install the RemoveTimeline extension. a post on right of page says- REMOVE TIMELINE? CLICK IT, (YOU don't HAVE TO LIKE IT) then REFRESH FACEBOOK & you should have the Old FB Wall Back!!
