Anybody here drink cold beer while showering?

I saw this on fb

And I tried it yesterday night and it's pretty damn awesome. I never knew this was a thing! It's like I've been showering wrong my entire life! Does anybody else do this "Kentucky shower"? Even light beer tastes and smells damn good. It doesn't taste like water in the shower.

I'll have to try that beer in the shower deal. Two things I love to do and I never thought of putting them together.

You impatient drunkard!

Seriously, (and not to brag) but I've chilled more cases of beer in coolers than I can count (work for a race team for a season and you will too), and 24 12 OZ cans or bottles of beer (cans actually cool a little quicker, but we're talking 30 seconds or so diff) and ten pounds of ice plus just enough water to make a slurry, meaning that there are bits of ice all the way down to the bottom of the ice chest, and the ENTIRE case will be at 33 or 34 degrees in 8 minutes.

EIGHT MINUTES. Shave at least 30 seconds off by giving the whole thing a stir with your hand halfway through, so that the beer at the center of each can mixes. I worked with engineers. We scienced it out. 80 degrees F to 35 in 8 minutes.

If you need a beer 3 minutes faster....go take a leak before you open the first one!

Edit to say, that after 7 minutes, the beer is completely cold enough to drink. At 8 minutes, it won't get any colder. If the slurry is salted and you leave it in that long, it will start to freeze.

I have to edit to say....that was a fun vid! Thanks!

Back when I used to drink, there were many times I'd come home from a hot, hard work day, slam a cold beer and head for the shower with another. I never took one in the shower. Just left it on the sink counter til I was out of the shower in 3-4 minutes.
