Help. I took out the garbage and the fruit flies are now following me

in my apartment. I have two cats. It is a regular ecosystem in here. I just wish the cats ate bugs but they don't.

...or any vessel that's not too shallow. Add a few drops of dish liquid. Cover with plastic wrap and poke a few holes in the top so the little bastards can get in but they can't get out.
