Just got back from 'Captain America: Civil War' (NO SPOILERS)

Last edited Mon May 9, 2016, 01:20 AM - Edit history (1)

Best comic book adaptation I've ever seen. Don't let 'Batman vs Superman' (which I actually liked) keep you away because it's a very different movie. Baron Zemo is a much better villain than critics give credit for. Tom Holland (Spider Man), Chawick Boseman (Black Panther) and Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) stole the show. Robert Downey, Jr. and Don Cheadle are starting to show their ages (as we all are these days).

GO SEE IT!!!

the relationships and history, but it was good. For our age, her smile as the credits rolled was worth a million.

A friend and I like to wait for the crowds to thin out before seeing such movies.

And so far, every single Capt. America movie has been well-written, well-directed, and well-acted. I have yet to be disappointed (as I was with the second Iron Man and Thor movies.)

I can see how some who are not as invested in the Marvel Universe might have a little of a hard time getting in to it as it has too many characters and back story.

Still, really good, and very happy to be around to see all of this.

Off to see it Wed right after work with my movie-buddy. Have really enjoyed the Avengers and Cap films to date. If this is only as good as the last few, it will still exceed my expectations, as they've been ripping good fun to watch.

I liked BM vs SM. I think Zack Snyder is great. My favorite is The Watchman.

I am going to have to go back and watch the Ant-Man film.

I can't wait for the Black Panther movie when it comes out.

It is hard to believe that Elizabeth Olsen is related to the Olsen twins. She is so much better than the twins. They made their money as cute kids and don't seem to do much as adults.

I agree with you about Robert Downey Jr and Don Cheadle. I don't think that they will be able to do action style movies for much longer.

I like that they continue to broaden the super hero world.

10. Too good

Pretty much the entire audience in my theatre reacted with some variation of "BUCKY NO" quickly followed by "TONY STOP" when that video started playing.
