The Prince is dead! Long Live The Prince!

Unbelievable. He wasn't even allowed to live into his late 60's, like David Bowie.

My favorite songs of his were not among his more popular. I like "Paisley Park" from Around The World In A Day best of all...

I've lost a bunch of friends who were in that decade: Redstone, WCGreen, MiddleFingerMom...And of course, Prince....

I think of this video.
I did go see Purple Rain when it came out,but was not my kind of music.Although he could play the shit out of R&R(Jimi style) on a guitar,he never did a recorded tune that showed it that I know of.
