I'm in the process of writing a James Bond fanfic story !

For the past two months , I've been writing a James Bond fanfic story . My version takes place about 16-20 years from now, so the Daniel Craig Bond is now the new M. The new 007..his mom is Halle Berrys character and his dad..well, let's just say something happened with him involving MJ-12...

I figured as much right now it is a lot of fun creating a new Bond, just for the hell of it !

3. Fanfic can be a lot of fun.

Most writers look down on it, presumably because it's not "original" work. And yet, look at the various Star Wars books that were written by 'unknown' writers. Sure, most fanfic is 'ship' between characters and not well-written (or edited!) But there's still some good stuff worth reading.

4. Here's the story so far

Daniel Craig's 007 is now M, so he has handpicked the man who will be the new Bond . I chose to have that be the son of Halle Berry's Jinx and Bronson's Bond. After the new Bond completed Navy SEAL Qualification Training, he has a very unusual encounter during his first mission in Colombia when he accidentally activated an ancient "LightGate" while leading an attack on SPECTRE . The U.S. And UK government feared that somebody had set off a large nuclear weapon, yet Bond is unharmed say for him missing ten minutes of the "incident" . So young Bond has to deal with the Feds, SPECTRE and one more "group" from the most secretive Undisclosed Special Access Program since the Manhatten Project, MAJESTIC !!!

5. It sounds like a fun plot!

I don't read adventure stories like Bond and similar, but you should have a healthy audience for it

6. I wish they would do remakes of the early Bond classics.

I'd like to see a new version of Goldfinger. The film was different than the book. The film points out you can't really get away with robbing Fort Knox. No gold painted girl on the bed in the book.(Nice paint job O.J.) Bond uses a pedestrian method to take out Goldfinger and contrives an early exit from the plane for the unconscious Odd Job.
