so I am drinking throwback Mt. Dew

made with real sugar, just like in the good old days.

I thought that might be interesting when I saw it in the store, to answer two questions.

a) can I taste the difference, and

b) if so, which one is better

Right now it seems like the answers are

a - yes I can

b - I am not liking the real sugar. It tastes kinda like I used marshmallows instead of ice cubes.

Then again, I actually was eating some marshmallows yesterday, and it was late and I was tired. Maybe I dropped on in my drink.

As the joke goes., last night I dreamed I was eating a giant marshmallow and when I woke up, my pillow was gone.

1. I have been drinking, occasionally, Dew Shine.

Made by Mountain Dew, has a faint grapefruit tang, is light tasting.
Moxies nicely with gin....

We have also been occasionally picking up real sugar sodas made by smaller companies...
so far have tried Boylan, Virgil's, and Jones, they all make different flavors, including REAL "root" beers, which use botanicals;
I am liking Red Birch Root Beer a lot.
