(46,435 posts)The title poem:
Her new sweater doesn't smell of me
I could pee on that
She's gone out for the day and
left her laptop on the counter
I could pee on that
Her new boyfriend just pushed
my head away
I could pee on him
She's ignoring me ignoring her
I could pee everywhere
She's making up for it
by putting me on her lap
I could pee on this
I could pee on this

(5,849 posts)They weren't my cats, but they hung around me a lot. One morning, I accidentally dropped the milk ring; it instantly became a toy! *bat* *bat* *bat*
That is when I realized just how versatile cat paws are!

(1,819 posts)They find the toy in everything.

(35,648 posts)If you give it to them, it's no toy--like the kitty upthread with the attitude of "guess it will do" and the one with the plastic bin full of toys who can find nothing to play with.

(20,165 posts)My cat's 2 favorite thongs to sleep on/in are the Styrofoam form that came in the microwave box and my laundry, fresh out of the dryer - especially if it's black.

You also managed to get a picture of both of the talented sous that departed this planet too soon.
Thank you, Salmon!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! 😼

(23,156 posts)The cat with the dollar bills. My son does pizza delivery, and a while back he posted a picture of his cat, covered with his tips for the day.
The strange cat at the door. A while back there was a cat in my neighborhood who looked almost exactly like my cat, and since my cat was allowed outside on occasion, I occasionally tried to bring in the other cat. Once another member of the household succeeded in doing so, then got very confused when our actual cat appeared.
