I've been using LINUX since 1995, never a problem with viruses, being hacked, trojans, or found the need for ANY anti-virus software.

Word.

You want to compute without needing to pay some fucking idiots to "keep your computer safe'??

Get a nice easy distribution of LINUX and learn a little about computer safety, and you a will be secure.

Unless the NSA wants to root you. In that case, all bets are off.

If you have access to a clean computer google whatever info you can observe about the name of it. Some of them have very specific removal procedures.
