(which actually could lead to positive things) I could be gone tomorrow, or a year from now. I was negotiating permanent instead of contract status with them, and it was going well, but suddenly the company decided it wanted to liquidate 80M worth of real estate, so my entire department are now tasked with selling our careers and everything off. I'll be in on Monday, like always.

It's true these things often lead to more favorable situations. Best of luck when the time comes.

Not that its that hard to play, but that its so authentic. And then the lyrics/vocals.

Sending good vibes that the search for a new job will not be lengthy and that something
will materialize for you sooner than expected.

Hang in there!

It's such an awful time of year for companies to give notice. I mean it's never a good time, but the holidays are absolutely the worst. I wish you the best of luck in finding something new. The new year is always a good time for hiring! Best wishes!

At least you've got some long notice, although it always surprises me when they put people in that position. How much more de-motivating could they be?

Maybe you can sell yourself to the potential buyer...

I am a lowly maintenance man, but because of that, no-one knows our buildings inside and out like I do. I'll definitely be working on that angle with the new owners.
