I'm betting she thought this role would be great fun, but she doesn't seem right for the part to me.

I saw the movie Sunday and thought it was excellent. Furthermore, I was in awe of how many songs she sang and how incredibly good she was with each. After the movie, I checked around and many reviewers concur.

Meryl Streep is an amazing actress and singer.

Now, as far as the appeal of the movie goes, I read the plot sketch before going and didn't think it was my type of movie. I'm not particularly into dramas, and I am especially uninterested in families and their interactions. Nevertheless, this plot held my interest. The ending is very good.
