3. We had quite a light show last night in Boise

Almost all air-to-air strikes, with the clouds flashing like strobe lights. I sat at the window and watched for an hour with my dog.

4. Cool! I'm so jealous of you guys

I love thunderstorms like crazy. I'm in California and we are so deprived. We had a feeble thunderstorm a couple of weeks ago - just distant thunder but even that got me way too excited. We never get the big sky full of lightning like you guys get.

I know it causes problems and I feel bad about that, but I can't help loving them for myself. They actually make me feel slightly euphoric.

Anyway, thanks for sharing the cool images.
